By booking a service with Mary Cleaning Services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Booking & Cancellation Policy
We understand that schedules change. However, missed appointments result in lost income for our cleaners.
- Cancellation Notice: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling.
- Late Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee of $50 (or 50% of the service cost).
- Lockout Fee: If our team arrives and cannot access your home, a full service fee may be charged.
2. Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not 100% satisfied with the quality of our cleaning:
- You must notify us within 24 hours of the service.
- We will return to re-clean the specific areas at no extra charge.
- We do not offer cash refunds once the service has been performed.
3. Safe Access (Snow & Ice)
Given the climate in Newfoundland, safe access to your property is mandatory.
- During winter months, please ensure driveways and walkways are cleared of snow and salted/sanded.
- If our team cannot safely reach your door, we reserve the right to cancel the service (a cancellation fee may apply).
4. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept cash, e-Transfer, and major credit cards. Late payments may incur interest charges.
5. Liability & Damage
We are fully insured and bonded. Our team treats your home with the utmost care.
- Accidental Damage: If we accidentally break an item, we will notify you immediately and work to repair or replace it.
- Limitations: We are not responsible for damage due to faulty installation (e.g., loose shelves, unsecured pictures) or wear and tear.
- Valuables: Please secure highly valuable or sentimental items prior to our arrival.
6. Pets
We are pet-friendly! However, for the safety of our staff and your pets, please secure any aggressive animals. If our staff feels threatened, they reserve the right to leave the premises.
